The Impact of New Technological and Digitisation Trends on the Future of the Labour Market

Abstract:

The dynamic economic, social and political changes initiated by the Fourth Technological Revolution and the phenomenon of globalisation are leading to the reorganisation of the traditional paradigm of governance. The aim of this article is to present research on the modification of employee position in the context of existing economic space and the projected changes resulting from the use of new technologies.  The publication was created in connection with the use of analysis of existing data, including a wide study of the position of literature. As a result of the conducted research, the current trends influencing the labour market, skills of the future, as well as the social perception of the emerging changes were indicated. The demonstrated diversity of the approach to the increasing changes related to the development of technology in the context of employees and employers may broaden the aspect of the need to change key skills and jobs in the future.
