The Impact of Work-Family Conflicts, Role Ambiguity, Work Stress and Performance (Study on Female Employees in Yogyakarta Special Region)

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Work-Family conflicts, role ambiguity, work stress, and performance. The experiment was conducted on 50 numbers of female employees living in Yogyakarta. On the basis of the experiment, the researcher made the hypothesis using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model. It is revealed that Work-Family conflicts and ambiguity significantly affect work stress, which in turn influence work performance, while work-family conflict and role ambiguity directly affect performance. Furthermore, the results of the study insinuate that there is no direct effect of work-family conflict and role ambiguity on performance.
