Abstract:

This case study considers the implementation and application of an ERP system at the company LOMAX & Co., the largest manufacturer of garage doors, window shutters, fences and gates in the Czech Republic. The company was established in 1992 by a single owner who has guided it to the very top of its line of business. The LOMAX brand has become a synonym for security, robustness and durability. The study describes how this prestigious production concern handled the selection of an ERP system and the realisation of a project for its implementation, and the benefits and experiences it has gained from its use.
