Abstract:

This study examinesthe implementation of Computerized Accounting system by Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Southern Region of Malaysia. The purpose of this study is to identify how many SMEs have been adopting Computerized Accounting system in preparing their Financial Statements. Besides,the aim of this research is to differentiate between SMEs which has been/not adopting the system by analysing three (3) key factors which are; (i) accuracy of financial statements, (ii) time saving, and (iii) reliability of accounting data. This research will conduct empirical studies and analysing using the Regression technique and data will be collected from 100 respondents in Southern Region using a structured questionnaire.
