Abstract:
At present cultural intelligence is a topical issue of great significance. It is widely discussed in subject literature, especially in the context of international business and management of multicultural teams. The special role and importance of cultural intelligence stems, first of all, from the fact that it affects the ability to notice, understand and accept attitudes, behaviours, norms, principles and values of representatives of other cultures. Cultural intelligence (CQ) understood as a set of skills and qualities necessary to effectively function in culturally diverse environment, plays a vital role in international human resource management. The pilot study (individual in-depth interviews) discussed in the article was conducted in international companies.
