Abstract:

Breast cancer is the major concerned among women. It is important that health care organisations have reliable software and statistical tools to analyse the vast amount of data for early detection of breast cancer. In this paper, several classifiers will be tested out and the accuracy rate of each classifier applied on the dataset of breast cancer will be observed. Based on the trials, we propose that Naïve Bayes classifier is the improved data mining method. By using this classifier, we will determine which attributed are the important factors that cause breast cancer.
