Abstract:
The article focuses on the importance of economic socialisation with particular emphasis on its impact on the processes of developing a proper model of economic culture conducive to economic growth. In the first, theoretical part of the article, selected concepts relating to the subject of socialisation are presented, including the issue of economic socialisation and its significance for economic culture as well as the related categories. The second part reviews the research conducted on the discussed issues. The research results obtained thereby enabled laying down guidelines for selected initiatives that may stimulate the process of economic socialisation in order to strengthen and develop such a model of economic culture that fosters economic growth. The main research objective was to examine and determine the current level of awareness concerning economic life and how it affects the respondents' behaviour.
