The Influence of Chosen HRM Solutions for Knowledge Workers on Their Job Performance through Work Motivation and Work Engagement – Result of Initial Empirical Research

Abstract:

The aim of this article was the issue of specific solutions for the evaluation of KWs and their remuneration was analyzed to make their job performance as maximized as possible. First of all, the analysis focused on one specific group of employees who are KWs. The empirical studies were conducted using questionnaires among employees of organizations operating in Poland – 185 employees took part in the research. Methods of statistical description and estimation were used, including Spearman correlation analysis and regression analysis with mediator. The presented results of empirical research allowed for the construction of a mediating model demonstrating the impact of the shape of solutions of HRM on motivation, engagement, and job performance of KWs.  The presented results of research are therefore supported by the authors' initial research, which proved the positive impact of KWs absorption on the relationship between work motivation and job performance.
