Abstract:

Ergonomics is branch of science that with its effects helps fulfill the requirements to be met by modern industrial production system and technologies. Its main task is to improve the working conditions of the people and thereby ensure better operation of manufacturing systems. In promoting ergonomic principles, the system human – machine - environment is examined. This article describes the effect of the use of ergonomic criteria by industrial engineers. They use them as a tool to ensure interaction between people and technology, ass in effects of physical factors.
