The Influence of Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion on Financial Decision Making (Investment) in Indonesia

Abstract:

This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy and the level of financial inclusion on financial decision making which in this case, investment decision is measured by looking at the amount of variation on investment. This study uses a quantitative method with the amount of data sourced from 298 respondents and processed through multiple linear regression statistical method. The result of this study shows that financial literacy and financial inclusion are significantly influence towards financial decisions (investment) in Indonesia. In other words, the higher the level of financial literacy and the level of financial inclusion of a person, the more the variation of investment he has. In addition, financial inclusion is more influence the number of variations on investment than financial literacy, but each has a significant influence on the amount of investment variation
