Abstract:
The study examines the influence of knowledge sharing strategies, codification and personalization, on organizational excellence pillars such as customer focus, results orientation, and transparency. There has been no previous direct empirical evidence to examine these relationships. To fill this research gap, the study focused on examining these relationships by using a sample of 191 respondents from four public organizations who won the King Abdullah II award for excellence in government performance and transparency in Jordan in the fourth cycle (2008/2009). The results of this study showed that knowledge sharing strategies, codification and personalization, have significant positive influence on each of the organizational excellence pillars - customer focus, results orientation, and transparency. The intended knowledge can provide administrators in the researched organizations and similar ones with ways to enhance organizational excellence and knowledge sharing strategies.
