The Influence of Socio-ecological Factors on the Quality of Life and Life Expectancy

Abstract:

During the course of current research, the problem of the influence of social and environmental factors on quality of life and life expectancy of population is defined, the purpose and the objective of the research are formulated. The main approaches to the understanding of issues of well-being, living standards and life expectancy are studied. The authors analyzed the interconnection between the problem of well-being and environmental factors along with the role of the influence of environmental factors on quality of life and life expectancy. A brief overview of sustainable development indicators proposed for use on different territorial levels is introduced; the prospects of obtaining an integral indicator of sustainable development are shown. It is concluded that as far as life expectancy is increasing, retirement should be healthier and happier, which requires the harmonization of relations within the scope of the "man-society-nature" law, and  have a positive impact on quality of life and life expectancy.
