The Influence of Total Quality Management on Organizational performance: An Empirical Study of Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority

Abstract:

Total Quality Management (TQM) is considered an important management concept and a set of guiding principles to improve the quality management practices of the organization. Nowadays the improvement of organizational performance is a challenge for many organizations. This study aims to examine the influence of the total quality management diminutions on the organizational performance. The findings are based on the empirical data collected from a survey questionnaire from 317 employees in Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) as the case study. Smart-PLS software was used to analysis the collected data. The results show that top management support and employees involvement had large effect size organizational performance. However, customer focus had a small effect size on organizational performance.The implications for practice and future research were also discussed
