The Interactive Effects of Personality Traits and Collectivistic on Job Involvement

Abstract:

This paper proposes to develop an antecedent model of job involvement and expand the literature on the role of collectivism in influencing the relationship between personality traits and job involvement. This study also supported and expanded the literature on the appropriateness between personality and environmental situations as a significant predictor of job involvement. We propose that the interaction between extraversion and agreeableness and collectivism has a significant impact on the level of job involvement.
