Abstract:

Transport infrastructure is recognized as the biggest determinant of the proper functioning of a given area. It results from the functions performed by transport in the economy and in society. Transport infrastructure with good qualitative and quantitative parameters betters the quality of life, including the mobility of citizens. Beyond the social aspect, transport infrastructure is also important for all activities of economic operators. First and foremost, it has a positive impact on their competitive capacities. The quality of transport infrastructure also has an impact on the environment.
