Abstract:

As part of the analysis of the methods of creating innovation indexes, factors determining the country's position in the area of innovation were determined. The analysis of the ranking of the EU Member States will allow for the analysis and classification of problems and barriers to innovative activity. Understanding these factors will allow the presentation of general recommendations, the use of which will contribute to the growth of innovation implementations and the development of the competitiveness of enterprises. The article presents the institutional forms of supporting innovation in Poland. On the basis of statistical data and conclusions, a diagnosis was made of the current state of innovation in Poland through the prism of the current economic situation and the structure of institutional forms of supporting innovation.
