Abstract:

Suggestion of laboratory stand configuration and methodology for testing compromising emanations from VGA interface has been shown in the article. The configuration of the laboratory stand presented is based on the equipment offered by the Rohde&Schwarz company. The article presents functional possibilities laboratory stand described as well as block diagrams of their implementation in testing laboratories equipped with anechoic chambers. To evaluate the possibility of information leakage by observing the compromising emanations radiated from VGA graphical interface, we propose an evaluation method by using a presented in article laboratory stand. The article has focused on revealing the possibility of eavesdropping of radiated compromising emanation during image transmission through VGA graphical interface. The example results of compromising emanation investigations tests are presented too.
