Abstract:

The environment in which companies have to operate is subjected to significant changes and is characterized by instability. Thereby, new opportunities appear for companies, but at the same time they are exposed to new risks and more uncertainty. There are various sources of uncertainty, but the major contribution is made by economic factors.
The paper is devoted to the identification of new types of risks that are relevant to the modern enterprise. In addition, some methods for assessing the selected specific types of risk are proposed.
