Abstract:
Technological progress is the basis for sustainable and inclusive economic development. It is possible to identify several needs to implement sustainable solutions in all sectors of the economy, such as eco-innovation. The purpose of the article is to discuss and examine the environmental factors for the development of such a solution. A qualitative study was conducted based on a structured literature review to gather information on environmental factors affecting the use of eco-innovation and their impact on the sustainable development of selected economies. This study will provide an understanding of business mechanisms for implementing eco-innovation that can allow them to build a sustainable business network. The article is qualitative and contains ideas for future research. A quantitative study can be carried out to develop a business model for the eco-innovation system using inter-organizational network models.Â
