The New Sales Funnel for the SMEs and Freelancers in the Revolution 4.0

Abstract:

Online business is becoming more and more expensive as systems, processes and tools become commodities. Comparing with, let’s say 5 years ago, today is necessary a certain level of knowledge for some online activities like online marketing manager, social media manager, SEO specialist, PPC specialist, digital strategist, copywriter, graphic designer, account manager. In this respect the social media campaigns became more sophisticated and more expensive. On the other hand, for the freelancers and for the SMMs these kinds of activities became less affordable form two points of view – knowledge and budgets. The article proposes an approach to marketing and online sales from the point of view of the freelancers and the SMEs. They can only spend time, people, and money only to a small extent and for very short periods, requiring concrete and quick results. They need an alternative approach for the understanding of the online activities results that show them if they are on the right way, and to go ahead step by step toward the coverage the wishes and the clients’ needs. The social sales process is designed in a simple and imaginative way, so that the tool usage to be as simple as possible, considering that the social selling process is pretty different to the famous classic sales funnel.
