The Obligations in CSR Reporting and Company’s Image Management in Poland

Abstract:

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a trend, that is being implemented by more and more companies. Human activity, both individual households and large corporations, affect the broadly understood environment. This environment should be understood as the market environment, the natural environment and society. A lot of companies on the market are being aware of the effects of their activities, thus they take actions in order to limit or eliminate the negative effects of their activities and strengthen the positive ones. It is underlined, that in the long-term perspective, the care for social and environmental aspects should be just as important as striving for profits.
