Abstract:
The paper presents six innovative reward systems from conceptual development literature. These systems were analyzed in terms of their suitability for companies in the apparel industry in Romania. The analysis was performed by a study that aims to identify specific the suitable reward systems of this industry, as well as future directions of the expansion of their use in the apparel industry in Romania. Also, the paper highlights the need for innovative reward systems and the acknowledgement and awareness of their advantages not only for the maintaining and attracting of human resources but also to increase business competitiveness in times of crisis.
