Abstract:

Health system performance is a very complex concept, which has multiple connections and correlations with other areas of human activity. Given that healthcare system is a major consumer of resources in today's global crisis (in which resources are increasingly limited), the performance issues in health becomes increasingly important.  In the present paper the authors analyze the perspectives of understanding the concept of performance in this area and present a few comparative performance evaluation methods in this field for different countries.
