Abstract:

The paper presents the issue of importance evaluation for the criterion such is the period of project realization. This criterion is a key element of risk assessment of technical innovations. This conclusion has been confirmed by using Shannon entropy method in study of the criterion weight. What’s more, the statistical analysis of empirical research and Mann-Whitney test used in this study also shows a  relationship between the subjective weight of criterion and personality conditions of decision-makers. The analysis has been carried out with the use of three selected personality conditions of expert: the way of locating cognitive control of decision-maker, his motivation in action and his need for stimulation.
