Abstract:
The paper presents a part of the combined research aimed at verification of the emotional exhaustion in the group of foreign language teachers (FLT), grouped based on age and teaching experience, the possibility of burnout syndrome occurrence and the interest in their possible engagement in complementary language education. For our research data collection was chosen the standardized Maslach Burnout Inventory further supplemented by own questionnaire, used for self-evaluation verification, connected the will of teachers for their self-development and widening their language skills and knowledge. The collected data proved their interest and engagement in their follow-up education self-involvement
