Abstract:

This paper represents a chronological insight on the process of how the European Union was designed and it developed from a secondary idea to a fully grown economic, political and social entity that is still fully functional and also tries to expand its reigns in the entire region. The research tries to highlight the global process based on the shift of power from the US to the pre-EU entity with the idea to dilute the Soviet Union’s power in the region.
