Abstract:
To optimize business processes, modern organizations are increasingly reaching for digital solutions. One of the technologies that has been gaining importance in recent years is RPA - Robotic Process Automation, which allows for the robotization of office processes. Repetitive, tedious tasks that previously required human involvement can be quite easily entrusted to programmable robots - which often perform this work faster and with better quality both under human supervision and in an automatic process, increasingly often additionally using AI solutions.
The aim of the article is to attempt to present, based on a real business case, the process of implementing solutions based on RPA technology in one of the large public financial institutions. Implementation such as any comprehensive change required in preparation and equipment. Learning about other uses can make this happen. The article in the form of a case study was created based on conducted literature research, analysis of source materials and interviews with employees. The research covers the period from May 2023 to July 2024.
The first part of the article is a theoretical basis of issues related to the robotization of business processes, the rest of the article is a presentation of a specific business case presenting the first phase of introducing the RPA technology to the organization - concluded with the author's conclusions and recommendations.
