The Reality of the Application of E-HRM in Jordanian Public Universities from the Point of View of Academic Leaders

Abstract:

The current study aimed at identifying the reality of the application of E-HRM in Jordanian public Universities from the point of view of academic leaders. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (42) paragraphs was developed and included six areas: analysis and design of the job, attraction and selection, wages and incentives, human resources planning, human resources training and performance evaluation. Having verified the reliability and validity of the study tool, it was applied on the study sample consisting of (240) academic leaders. The results of the study showed that the reality of the application of E-HRM in Jordanian public universities from the point of view of academic leaders was average in all fields, except the field of wages and incentives which was of high degree. In light of the results of the study, a set of recommendations were emerged that are hoped to benefit stakeholders.
