Abstract:

In modern conditions, the development of industrial enterprises is linked to implementing the methods of adaptive management and continuous improvement. The constant increase of efficiency, determined by strategic company guidelines, is based on identification and use of reserves, the totality of which constitutes the potential for  company development. In clustering of enterprises, representing the integrated structures for manufacturing technically and technologically sophisticated high-tech products, the process of implementing the reserves for efficiency growth is system-oriented. It determines the production strategy, and helps to enhance the industrial system at the strategic level, increasing the efficiency of management as a whole. The article outlines the provisions on identifying the reserves for science-based production efficiency growth, presents the methodology of assessing the enterprise potential, and summarizes the results of a scientific study of the problem of identifying the in-house reserves on the basis of contemporary modelling and structuring methods.
