Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between corporate governance principle and corporate strategy in Abu Dhabi Accountability and Authority. This research targeted executive managers, senior manager and strategic consultants in the UAE government organizations. The research was focused in Abu Dhabi Emirate; a sample size of 423 was selected to participate in this study using convenience sampling technique. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was used to determine the relationship between corporate governance principle and corporate strategy. A two-step structural equation modelling (SEM) approach is followed in the present study. In the first step, relationships among latent constructs and indicators are validated using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) also known as measurement model. In the second step, structural model is evaluated to test direction and strength of hypothesized relationships among latent constructs. The results showed that there is a significant positive impact of Corporate Governance Principle (CGP) on Corporate Strategy (CS) (p<0.05), result also indicated that there is a significant positive impact of Organizational Culture (OC) on Corporate Strategy (CS) (P<0.05), and there is a significant positive impact of interaction of Corporate Governance Principle and Organization culture (CGP_OC) on Corporate Strategy (CS).
