The Relationship of Team Work to the Satisfaction of Managers in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Teamwork is the backbone of all modern organizations seen as an effective form of human labour organization. Teamwork uses the creativity of people, their different abilities and enabling performances that such individuals would not able to handle. Mutual cooperation improves communication; it can strengthen confidence and provides mutual support in the accomplishment of a task. Management of an organization should try to equal business objectives with employees' goals. If all of the above mentioned is met, the management will reach required work performance increasing the efficiency of the entire organization. The article deals with the influence of teamwork to satisfaction of 290 managers in SMEs in Czech Republic. Based on statistics analysis, the authors proved a weak relation between teamwork and satisfaction of managers.
