The Role Of A Favorable Social And Psychological Climate Within The Team In Increasing Work Efficiency

Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to study theoretical aspects and to offer recommendations how to create a favorable social and psychological climate within a team. This goal was formulated on the basis of the working hypothesis: work efficiency mostly depends on the social and psychological environment and the manager’s ability to create a favorable social and psychological climate. The analysis of the social and psychological climate within the organization was carried out on the basis of the research conducted in one of the trade enterprises which has a representative office in the city of Tambov. The results of the study allowed us to identify a number of problems associated with an unfavorable social and psychological climate. The authors concluded that issue is related to the fact that the employees belong to different age groups, which makes the social and psychological climate within the team less comfortable. To solve these problems the authors recommend focusing on such important aspects as team building and flexibility in a multigenerational team.
