Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence has become one of the most important technological developments influencing the operations of modern enterprises. Its growing popularity results from its ability to improve organizational efficiency, automate business processes, support decision-making, and enhance competitiveness. The aim of this article is to present the role of Artificial Intelligence in contemporary enterprises and to analyze the benefits and challenges associated with its implementation. The study is based on a review of scientific literature and reports concerning the application of Artificial Intelligence in business. The analysis focuses on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on organizational efficiency, business process automation, and management processes. Particular attention is devoted to the main areas of Artificial Intelligence application, including customer service, logistics, finance, human resource management, and decision support systems. The findings indicate that Artificial Intelligence contributes to increased productivity, improved decision quality, cost reduction, and the development of innovative products and services. At the same time, enterprises face several challenges related to implementation, including high costs, organizational barriers, insufficient employee competencies, data security concerns, and ethical issues. The analysis demonstrates that the successful implementation of Artificial Intelligence requires not only technological investments but also organizational readiness, employee training, and appropriate governance mechanisms. Artificial Intelligence is expected to play an increasingly significant role in shaping the competitiveness and long-term development of enterprises.
