The Role of Case Technology in Training Graduates with Modern Competences

Abstract:

In the article the authors point out the difficulty in developing cases in natural sciences, in particular in chemistry. The proposed case “The Problem of Water in the River” is one of the first developed cases on analytical chemistry in the Uzbek language. Case was tested in analytical chemistry classes. During the work, an increase in students’ interest in completing assignments on the case was observed. The importance of the developed case in the acquisition of modern knowledge, skills and abilities of graduates is analyzed. A survey of students shows that students are more inclined to perform the experiments described in the cases than traditional laboratory experiments.
