The Role of Extracurricular Activities in Teaching Statistics: What Do Students Think?

Abstract:

Teaching statistics has significantly changed recently, as teachers in this area are trying to make it more and more attractive for the students. In this respect, new and innovative ways of teaching have been developed and tested. This paper proposes integrating extracurricular activities related to statistics into the actual teaching process. The study explores students’ attitude towards this idea, offering valuable insights to teachers and university decision makers in the field.
