Abstract:
This paper addresses the issue of information security as a key determinant of the resilience of a nation's critical infrastructure in the era of digital transformation. The primary goal of the article is to demonstrate that in today's hybrid threat environment, protecting strategic facilities is impossible without ensuring the integrity and availability of data controlling technological processes. Authors argues that information security constitutes the "nervous system" of critical infrastructure, and its breach can lead to the paralysis of key services and the destabilization of state structures. The paper concludes by highlighting the need for a holistic approach to building resilience, combining the legal requirements of the NIS Directive with countering disinformation.
