Results of the multiple regression revealed that there are significant positive impacts of continuance commitment and normative commitment on organizational effectiveness, whereas affective commitment does not have a significant impact on organizational effectiveness. Also, the results revealed that there is no significant difference in the impact of organizational commitment on organizational effectiveness that can be attributed to gender. Furthermore, results of ANOVA test indicated that there is no significant difference in the impact of organizational commitment on organizational effectiveness in favor of age, experience, and academic rank. The results have many managerial implications for universities. That is in order to enhance organizational effectiveness; decision makers must pay attention to the organizational commitments.
