Abstract:
In the current era of increasing cyber threats, it is important to understand the role of marketing strategies in improving cybersecurity. This paper analyzes how effective marketing strategies, particularly those related to SEO, can reduce attack vectors and limit user profiling of phishing sites and other malicious actors. The study examines the impact of marketing practices, SEO and marketing tools on digital security of public entities. It highlights the significance of careful keyword selection, content optimization, and the security of forms and files available on websites. This paper also demonstrates how marketing pixels can be leveraged to enhance the efficacy of cyber-attacks. Research highlights the connection between marketing, SEO, marketing tools and cybersecurity, revealing that developing a marketing strategy is not only useful for visibility but also crucial for enhancing digital security against emerging cyber threats, which should be considered especially by large government institutions.
