Abstract:
It has been widely recognized that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, recorded in Europe in early 2020, affected the entire sectors rather than just individual enterprises. In Great Britain, e.g., it has been observed that the entrepreneurs operating in such sectors as: accommodation and catering, leisure and childcare, retail sale of industrial products, passenger transport, cinematography and art are facing a particularly difficult situation (UK Economic Outlook). Certainly, in other highly developed countries, where governments introduced a deep economic lockdown, the problems are similar, whereas the financial support for self-employed entrepreneurs, in many cases, turns out to be ineffective.
