The Size Of The Organization As A Moderator Of Relation Between Organization’s Resilience And Organizational Performance

Abstract:

The paper is devoted to the analysis of the potential influence of organization’s resilience on organizational performance. In particular the analysis concentrates on organization’s resilience. It is assumed that organization’s resilience is one of factors potentially influencing organizational performance, and that relation is influenced by the size of the organization. It must be stressed that, although the size of the organization is measured here directly, it is treated as a proxy (a category followed by a set of specific, organizational characteristics). Empirical research was conducted to verify formulated hypotheses based on results obtained from 263 organizations from Poland.
