Abstract:
Currently, digital technologies provide economic and technological capacity building of economic systems of different countries of the world. However, the benefits of digital civilization do not always have a positive impact on human life. In the race for scientific discoveries, innovations and breakthrough technologies, States often forget about the social side of the digital economy: human comfort, health and safety, satisfaction with the quality of life. The article attempts to analyze the indicators included in the international indices of digital development of countries. A significant limitation of the assessment of the impact of digitization factors on human life and its social component is revealed. It is determined that at present researchers estimate, first of all, human capital as a factor of production, a necessary resource for the development of the digital economy. And only a few indices reflect the impact of the digital world on the life of society and man as a key consumer of goods and services of the digital economy. It is concluded that the system of indicators for assessing life satisfaction and its quality in the conditions of digitalization should be supplemented by a safety indicator.
