Abstract:
The article analyzes the role of social memory as a modern education’s value orienting point. The authors of the work note a value-semantic break in a social memory’s content and in education. Content of social memory is exposed to unfounded distortions and it has a negative influence on educational processes. The structure-functional model of a social memory’s formation in a context of a modern educational process is offered in the work. The authors admit that the establishment of social memory and educational strategies’ correlation can overcome the real break between generations and strata. The hypothesis that a modern society’s sustainable development is possible with a fact of the modern education content’s filling with values, fixed in a social memory’s content is raised in the work.
