Abstract:
Cultural and historical conditions require from the modern education system a qualitatively new graduate of the technical training, whose professional competences are harmoniously combined with the communicative competence. The research purpose is to study the psychological features of the communicative competence of technical university students, tested under the proposed approach, through the characteristics of emotional intelligence, coping strategies, the level of communication skills. The research results let us conceive the actual specifics of communicative competence of technical students at the Russian regional university as the basis of their future professional success. This information is used to improve the educational process at the university, the organization of extra-curricular and upbringing work, being the basis for the psychocorrective and training program for development of the communicative competence of students in the university environment, taking into account the psychocorrective targets identified within the study.
