The Structure of Human Capital and Its Assessment Methods

Abstract:

With the onset of era of instability and constant changes related to rapidly developing e-learning, the rapid expansion of social networks boundaries, the introduction of cyborgization, as well as the approach to technological and economic singularity, the human role in social and labor relations and social and economic mechanisms of labor management is changing. The achievement of competitive advantages by economic entities today is not carried out at the expense of raw material resources, but through human capital, which accumulates experience, abilities and personal skills embodied in people. Due to the fact that human capital is proclaimed one of society economic development factors, the study of man, his competences, is one of the current problems that modern science is faced with. In order to effectively manage human capital, generally accepted methods of measuring, accounting and economic assessment are necessary, which are currently lacking. In this regard, the study of scientific and methodological problems of managing human capital, namely its measurement and economic assessment of individual human capital, attracts theoretical and practical interest.
