The Study of Student Creativity Related to Modelling of New Economic System

Abstract:

The society we live in undoubtedly forms our point of view on the world that includes also education. This paper is a part of on-going research aimed on determining whether university students (in this case with IT/management/economical background) are able to devise purely new approach to an economical alternative, the alternative to current economic system or a complementary economical system. The study was conducted with the help of Stella modelling software. The results of the study, although they are often quite creative, shown only a little amount of invention and most of the results were strongly derived from the current situation or approaches. Nevertheless results there show also two completely new approaches.
