Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to illustrate the shortcomings of the present models used to assess intangible assets, to underline the differences among intangible assets with a definite and an indefinite life expectancy, as well as to analyse the quantifying criteria used for these types of patrimonial elements used in the economic practice and theory.
