Abstract:
In recent years, work spaces have considerably changed, depending on the type of organization or work, but mainly due to globalization, Information Technology and Communication and environmental concerns. Cost rationalizations, concentration of activities or flexibility are the major challenges of transforming workspaces. However, harmonization of these spaces has consequences on individuals and on organizations. Indeed, in a recurrent changing environment, some people may be confused. According to Linkemer (1999), “the unknown is sometimes disturbing”.
At a time where the quality of life in the office becomes a requirement, a reflection on the office layout is needed to improve the welfare and performance of employees and enable them to give the best of themselves.
This article is a conceptual framework of literature. It aims to highlight the relationship between work environment and its effect within the companies.
