Abstract:
It is in the 21st Century that we can mark the time as the most valuable commodity of the leading workers. At present, the need to adapt to the globalization trend forces businesses to adapt to an increasingly changing environment. This trend is causing stress. A fast pace of life causes stress today to be seen as a natural part of our life. However, it must be borne in mind that stress is involved in the development of various civilization diseases, especially heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders or mental illness. The organization of time and its appropriate use is the basis for an optimal lifestyle that takes account of work responsibilities, but at the same time it provides plenty of space for relaxation in leisure. By appropriately dividing the time between the necessary daily activities, the negative phenomena of contemporary society such as stress, depression or inability to cope with crisis situations can be avoided. The importance of time management in personal and work life is associated with optimal organization of activities and prioritization. One of the core tasks of the manager is the task of performing his / her work efficiently, i. arrange everything to do what is necessary for the job to be successful. The basic prerequisites for doing this work are the good results of the work achieved by performing effective activities using their intelligence, imagination and knowledge. The extent to which managers are effective depends largely not only on stressors but also on the external conditions of their work - the distraction. The efficiency of the manager's work reflects on the way of managing the whole business, and on that basis the well-defined time management demonstrably increases the competitiveness of the entire business.
