Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic took everyone by surprise, and the educational system was not an exception. Analyzing the problems distance learning faced it was clear that some changes were needed. This paper proposed the identification of methods that work for streamers in keeping online viewers engaged and that could easily be borrowed by the teachers. No matter if we are talking about building a community, fostering interactions, the usage of an avatar, or the defining of commands, each one of these methods can help the educators in captivating the pupils and making them enjoy the online lessons and becoming active participants.
