Together or Apart? Diversity Management and Corporate Social Responsibility in Polish Enterprises

Abstract:

Nowadays, mainly due to socio-demographical processes but also the need to stay comparative in the globalising economy; diversity management is gaining more and more attention by enterprises. However, as research shows, it is still being implemented by only a few Polish organizations. The aim of the following paper was to determine the relationship between diversity management and corporate social responsibility in Polish enterprises. The paper contains results from 20 TDI’s (Telephone Depth Interview) conducted with representatives of Polish signatory of the Polish Diversity Charter. The results show, that diversity management is being perceived rather as a part of organizations corporate social responsibility than a separate strategy.
